Who This Is For:
• Quality control engineers in manufacturing, shipbuilding, aviation, and chemical industries needing precise wall thickness measurements.
• Maintenance teams inspecting tanks, pipelines, and structural components for wear or corrosion without damaging the material.
• Laboratory technicians and researchers analyzing the thickness of various materials in R&D and testing environments.
• Safety inspectors verifying compliance and integrity of metal, plastic, or glass structures in industrial facilities.
• Anyone requiring a portable, reliable, and easy-to-use thickness gauge with digital data management features.
Application:
• Measuring wall thickness of metal pipes, tanks, and pressure vessels to assess structural health.
• Inspecting plastic, glass, and ceramic parts for uniformity and quality control in production lines.
• Evaluating cast iron and materials with large crystal structures using specialized probes.
• Testing high-temperature components in power plants or refineries with the high-temperature probe.
• Performing non-destructive inspections where coating or paint is present, using the E-E measurement mode to measure substrate thickness.
How to Use:
1. Select and connect the appropriate probe for your material and application; the device will auto-identify the probe type.
2. Calibrate the gauge if needed, then apply a small amount of ultrasonic couplant to the material surface.
3. Place the probe perpendicular to the test surface and press the measurement button; the thickness will display instantly on the LCD screen.
4. Switch between QC and Statistics modes as needed, set upper/lower limits, and store up to 999 readings for review.
5. Use Bluetooth to transfer measurement data to your mobile app for storage, sharing, and report generation.
