Who This Is For:
• Quality control specialists in plastics, glass, film, and packaging industries who need to evaluate optical properties of materials.
• Laboratory technicians and researchers analyzing haze, clarity, and color difference in transparent and semi-transparent samples.
• Manufacturers of architectural glass, automotive glass, and specialty films requiring compliance with ASTM and ISO standards.
• Beverage, pharmaceutical, and chemical producers needing to test liquid turbidity, color, and purity for quality assurance.
• Anyone seeking a user-friendly, high-precision haze meter with advanced data management and reporting capabilities.
Application:
• Measuring haze, transmittance, and clarity of plastic sheets, films, glass panels, and coated materials for quality control.
• Testing liquid turbidity and platinum-cobalt color (Pt-Co/Hazen) in beverages, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals.
• Analyzing spectral transmittance curves to assess optical performance and color properties in R&D and production environments.
• Ensuring compliance with international standards for optical measurements in manufacturing and laboratory settings.
• Comparing samples in simple or comparative measurement modes, with automatic qualification based on tolerance settings.
How to Use:
1. Power on the Ametra Color Haze Meter and select the measurement mode (horizontal or vertical) according to your sample type.
2. Choose the appropriate aperture (14mm or 5mm) for your sample size and place the sample in the open measurement area.
3. Initiate measurement via the touch screen; results for haze, transmittance, color difference, and more will display in about 3 seconds.
4. Review real-time spectral curves and data on the 7-inch screen, and use the PC software to export or print reports as needed.
5. For liquids, use the optional cuvette holder and follow the same measurement process for accurate turbidity and color analysis.
